Banded iron formations (BIFs) are the most significant source of iron in the world. In this study, we report petrographic and geochemical data of the BIF from the Meyomessi area in the Ntem Complex, southern Cameroon, and discuss their genesis and the iron enrichment process. Field investigations and petrography have revealed that the studied BIF samples are hard; compact; weakly weathered; and composed of magnetite, subordinate quartz, and geothite. The geochemical composition of the whole rock reveals that iron and silica represent more than 98 wt% of the average composition, whereas Al2O3, TiO2, and high‐field strength elements (HFSE) contents are very low, similar to detritus‐free marine chemical precipitates. The total iron (TFe) contents range from 48.71 to 65.32 wt % (average of 53.29 wt %) and, together with the low concentrations of deleterious elements (0.19 wt % P on average), are consistent with medium‐grade iron ores by global standards. This interpretation is confirmed by the SiO2/Fe2O3total versus (MgO + CaO + MnO)/Fe2O3total discrimination plot in which most of the Meyomessi BIF samples fall in the field of medium‐grade siliceous ore. Only one sample (MGT94) plots in the high‐grade magnetite–geothite ore domain. The high Fe/Ti (376.36), Fe/Al (99.90), and Si/Al (29.26) ratios of the sample are consistent with significant hydrothermal components. The rare earth elements (REE) contents of the studied BIF samples are very low (∑REE: 0.81–1.47 ppm), and the Post‐Archaean Australian Shale (PAAS)‐normalized patterns display weak positive Eu anomalies (Eu/Eu*: 1.15–1.33), suggesting a syngenetic low‐temperature hydrothermal solutions, similar to other BIF worldwide. However, the Meyomessi BIFs show high Fe contents when compared to the other BIFs. This indicates an epigenetic mineralization process affected the Meyomessi BIF. From the above results and based on the field and analytical data, we propose that the genetic model of iron ores at the Meyomessi area involves two stages of the enrichment process, hypogene enrichment of BIF protore by metamorphic and magmatic fluids followed by supergene alteration as indicated by the presence of goethite in the rocks.  相似文献

岩浆是将地球内部物质传送到表层系统的主要载体,并造成显著的资源聚集和环境效应。岩浆动力学是研究岩浆的迁移、储存、演化、就位以及喷发过程,侧重物理机制。这些岩浆过程主要发生在岩浆通道系统中,包括岩浆储库和岩浆管道。本文对目前国际岩浆动力学领域一些热点和前沿进行了介绍,这包括从岩浆房到岩浆储库概念的转变、岩浆储库的生长和动力学演化过程、岩浆过程的时间尺度以及岩浆中晶体的生长。然后阐述了岩浆中挥发分的种类和溶解度、获取天然岩浆挥发分含量的方法、一些典型镁铁质岩浆中的挥发分含量、岩浆去气的化学和物理机制,并简要梳理了热液金属矿床的形成过程和岩浆挥发分进入地表圈层系统引发的环境气候效应。最后列举了一些岩浆动力学有关的重要科学问题并建议了进一步的研究方向。  相似文献

The large tonnage Maoling gold deposit (25 t @ 3.2 g/t) is located in the southwest Liaodong Peninsula, North China Craton. The deposit is hosted in the Paleoproterozoic metamorphic rocks. Four stages of mineralization were identified in the deposit: (stage I) quartz-arsenopyrite ± pyrite, (stage II) quartz-gold- arsenopyrite-pyrrhotite, (stage III) quartz-gold- polymetallic sulfide, and (stage IV) quartz-calcite-pyrrhotite. In this paper, we present fluid inclusion, C-H-O-S-Pb-He-Ar isotope data, zircon U-Pb, and gold-bearing sulfide (i.e. arsenopyrite and pyrrhotite) Rb-Sr age of the Maoling gold deposit to constrain its genesis and ore-forming mechanism. Three types of fluid inclusions were distinguished in quartz-bearing veins, including liquid-rich two-phase (WL type), gas-rich two-phase (GL type), and daughter mineral-bearing fluid inclusions (S type). Fluid inclusions data show that the homogenization at temperatures 197 to 372 °C for stage I, 126 to 319 °C for stage II, 119 to 189 °C for stage III, and 115 to 183 °C for stage IV, with corresponding salinities of 3.7 to 22.6 wt.%, 4.7 to 23.2 wt.%, 5.3 to 23.2 wt.%, and 1.7 to 14.9 wt.% NaCl equiv., respectively. Fluid boiling was the critical factor controlling the gold and associated sulfide precipitation at Maoling. Hydrogen and oxygen stable isotopic analyses for quartz yielded δ18O = ?5.0‰ to 9.8‰ and δ D = ?133.5‰ to ?77.0‰. Carbon stable isotopic analyses for calcite and ankerite yielded δ13C = ?2.3‰ to ?1.2‰ and O = 7.9‰ to 14.1‰. The C-H-O isotope data show that the ore-forming fluids were originated from magmatic water with meteoric water input during mineralization. Hydrothermal inclusions in arsenopyrite have 3He/4He ratios of 0.002 Ra to 0.054 Ra, and 40Ar/36Ar rations of 1225 to 3930, indicating that the ore-forming fluids were dominantly derived from crustal sources almost no mantle input. Sulfur isotopic values of Maoling fine-grained granite range from 6.‰1 to 9.8‰, with a mean of 7.7‰, δ34S values of arsenopyrite from the mineralized phyllite (host rock) range from 8.9‰ to 10.6‰, with a mean of 10.0‰, by contrast, δ34S values of sulfides from ore vary between 4.3‰ and 10.6‰, with a mean of 6.8‰, suggesting that sulfur was mainly originated from both the host rock and magma. Lead radioactive isotopic analyses for sulfides yielded 206Pb/204Pb = 15.830–17.103, 207Pb/204Pb = 13.397–15.548, 208Pb/204Pb = 35.478–36.683, and for Maoling fine-grained granite yielded 206Pb/204Pb = 18.757–19.053, 207Pb/204Pb = 15.596–15.612, and 208Pb/204Pb = 38.184–39.309, also suggesting that the ore-forming materials were mainly originated from the host rocks and magma. Zircon U-Pb dating demonstrates that the Maoling fine-grained granite was emplaced at 192.7 ± 1.8 Ma, and the host rock (mineralized phyllite) was emplaced at some time after 2065.0 ± 27.0 Ma. Arsenopyrite and pyrrhotite give Rb–Sr isochron age of 188.7 ± 4.5 Ma, indicating that both magmatism and mineralization occurred during the Early Jurassic. Geochronological and geochemical data, together with the regional geological history, indicate that Early Jurassic magmatism and mineralization of the Maoling gold deposit occurred during the subducting Paleo-Pacific Plate beneath Eurasia, and the Maoling gold deposit is of the intrusion-related gold deposit type.  相似文献

桐木山云英岩型锡矿床是湘东锡田锡多金属矿田中一个典型矿床,在详尽的野外考察、矿石结构观察以及流体包裹体岩相学研究的基础上,采用流体包裹体组合的研究方法,利用冷热台、激光拉曼等测试手段,对矿床中锡石中流体包裹体进行直接测定,同时开展与锡石共生的石英及切割矿体的后期石英脉石英中流体包裹体对比研究。结果显示,锡石中流体包裹体的组分、均一温度、盐度与共生的石英存在明显差异,表明锡石与石英形成的P-T-X条件不同。切割矿体的石英脉为成岩成矿后流体作用的产物。与锡石形成相关的流体为中高温、中低盐度的Na Cl-H_2O流体体系,与石英形成相关的流体为复杂的含碳流体。流体体系的冷却作用及流体与围岩的反应可能是导致锡石沉淀的主要因素,与石英形成相关的流体在演化过程中则经历了明显的流体不混溶作用。  相似文献

The Liwu stratiform copper deposit is located in the northwestern Jianglang dome, western China. Current studies mainly focus on the genetic type and mineralization of this deposit. Detailed fluid inclusion characteristics of metallogenic period quartz veins were studied to reveal the ore-forming fluid features. Laser Raman analysis indicates that the ore-forming fluids is a H2O-NaCl-CH4 (-CO2) system. Fluid inclusions microthermometry shows a homogenization temperature of 181–375°C and a salinity of 5.26%–16.99% for the disseminated-banded Cu-Zn mineralization; but a homogenization temperature of 142–343°C and a salinity of 5.41%–21.19% for the massive-veined Cu-Zn mineralization. These features suggest a medium-high temperature and a medium salinity for the ore-forming fluids. H-O isotopic data indicates that the ore-forming fluids were mainly from the metamorphic and magmatic water, plus minor formation water. And sulfur isotopic data indicates that sulfur was mainly derived from the formation and magmatic rocks. Metallogenesis of the disseminated-banded mineralization was mainly correlated with fluid mixing and water-rock reaction; whereas that of the massive-veined mineralization was mainly correlated with fluid boiling. The genetic type of the deposit is a medium-high temperature hydrothermal deposit related to magmatism and controlled by shear zones. One of the most important aspects, in the ACS and multi stepped hull design, is the choice of the geometrical shape of the cavity and the steps. In this article a complete experimental and numerical campaign on a multi stepped ACS has been carried out, varying the velocity and the air flow rate under the hull. The experimental tests have been conducted in an ITTC Towing Tank allowing to validate the numerical simulations obtained by means of a CFD U-RANSe (Unesteady Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes equations) code. The CFD setup is described in detail. From this campaign a critical analysis of the Froude number influence on the air cushion shape has been argued. The authors identified four different behaviours, from low to very high Froude numbers. The use of CFD has allowed to observe quantities of difficult evaluation by means of traditional experimental test, as e.g. the frictional component of the resistance, the airflow path lines and the volume of fraction in transversal and longitudinal sections. Wave-induced loads on a submerged plate, representative of submerged breakwater, coastal-bridge deck and a certain type of wave energy converter, in a uniform current are investigated in this study using fully nonlinear numerical wave tanks (NWTs) based on potential flow theory. The coupling effect of wave and current is explored, and the underlying interaction mechanisms of the hydrodynamic forces are described. The presence of a background current modifies the frequency dispersion. It produces changes of the water-surface elevation, and also has an effect on wave-induced loads. Depending on the nonlinearity, higher harmonic wave components are generated above the submerged plate. These contribute to the wave forces. It is found that the horizontal and the vertical force, hence the moment, are affected in the opposite way by the currents. The Doppler shifted effect dominates the vertical force and the moment on the plate. Whereas, the Doppler shifted effect and the generation of higher wave harmonics play opposite roles on the horizontal forces. The contribution of 2nd order harmonics is found to be up to 30% of the linear component. The current-induced drag force, represented by the advection term ρU∂φ/∂x in the pressure equation, is found to lead to a decrease in the moment for the most range of wavelengths considered, and an increase in the moment for a small range of longer waves.  相似文献

乌斯河铅锌矿床位于扬子板块西南缘,是川滇黔铅锌矿集区代表性大型铅锌矿床之一,估算资源量超过370万吨,Pb+Zn平均品位~15.7%。该矿床铅锌矿体主要呈层状、似层状、透镜状产于震旦系灯影组的白云岩地层中,其围岩蚀变较弱,以白云石化和方解石化为主。矿石类型主要包括块状、条带状、角砾状、脉状和浸染状等,其中矿物组成相对简单,以闪锌矿、方铅矿、白云石和方解石为主,含少量沥青和黄铁矿。该矿床地质地球化学研究程度相对较低,其成矿物质来源不清,致使该矿床存在热水沉积成因、喷流沉积-后期热液叠加改造以及MVT型等多种成因争议,难以建立统一成矿模式。本文对乌斯河铅锌矿床不同成矿阶段的硫化物(包括黄铁矿、闪锌矿和方铅矿),开展原位硫和铅同位素地球化学研究,以查明该矿床的成矿物质来源、还原硫的形成机制和示踪成矿过程,为认识该类矿床铅锌成矿作用提供新地球化学依据。原位S同位素分析结果显示,乌斯河铅锌矿床硫化物的还原硫存在不同硫来源,成矿早阶段硫化物δ34S值较低,介于+1.3‰~+14.2‰之间,暗示可能有来自于赋矿地层圈闭古油气系统中的H2S;主成矿阶段硫化物相对富集重硫同位素,δ34S值在+11.0‰~+23.3‰之间,表明其为赋矿地层的蒸发岩的热化学还原作用的产物。此外,硫化物的LA-MC-ICPMS原位Pb同位素组成分析显示,该矿床成矿金属元素主要来源于变质基底地层,水岩反应可能使赋矿地层贡献少量的成矿物质。综合矿区地质特征和已有的地球化学研究成果,本文认为乌斯河铅锌矿床属于MVT铅锌矿床,富Pb、Zn等成矿元素的流体与富H2S的流体混合是该矿床金属硫化物沉淀的主要机制。  相似文献

侯格庄金矿床位于胶东栖(霞)-蓬(莱)金成矿带大柳行金矿田东南部。该文采用包裹体显微测温方法对金矿石中石英矿物内残留的流体包裹体进行研究,总结了金矿石石英矿物中的流体包裹体特征,并对该矿床成矿流体来源、矿床成因进行了研究。研究表明,该矿床石英矿物中流体包裹体以纯液包裹体为主,次为H_2O-CO_2气液两相包裹体及H_2O-CO_2三相包裹体,未见含子矿物包裹体。均一温度在109~396℃,盐度在2.9~22.44wt%NaCl,密度在0.64~1.06g/cm~3之间,估算成矿压力为128~340MPa,成矿深度约4.4~11.6km。该矿床至少经历了2个矿化期次,成矿流体为中低温、低盐度、低密度流体,流体来源于天水与岩浆水的混合产物,属中低温、中浅成热液矿床。  相似文献
